FOOTHILL RANCH, CA - Renkus-Heinz, Inc., manufacturer of world-class loudspeaker systems, is delighted to announce the appointment of TTS Scandinavia AB as its new distributor for Sweden with effect from December 1st 2002.

Renkus-Heinz is delighted to announce the appointment of Beyerdynamic UK as its new distributor for the UK and Ireland with effect from September 1st 2002. 

Renkus-Heinz products will join Beyerdynamic's other distribution brands on its booth (F34) at PLASA on September 8-11. On show are the new ST-STX Series of professional powered and unpowered loudspeakers, the Reflex Series including the new RFX101 and RFX151 cabinets and new Reference Point Array solutions. 

The ST-STX Series is the culmination of 20 years of R&D by Renkus-Heinz into high performance loudspeaker and array technology, with a built-in CobraNet® input option, and third-generation Class D amplification in the ST Series.

21'st century audio technology joins 11'th century history in the first ever Renkus-Heinz ST-STX installation in Europe. The Dala-Husby Church in the very heart of Dalarna, Sweden has chosen the Renkus-Heinz ST7 with built-in Class D amplification and self contained processing to deliver the sound throughout its large main ship.


Mr. Bengt-Olof Hedlund, head of arrangement organization explains: 

"Once we were presented to this solution by Mr. Nilsson, having everything contained in the loudspeakers, it was obvious that this was the ideal solution for us. The church is one of of the oldest in Sweden and requirements for the appropriate system were extensive. We could no have any amp-rack, nor were there any confined space to put processing equipment in. The Renkus-Heinz ST system was a perfect match. Also the fact that it sound absolutely fabulous is just icing on the cake..."

The Reflex Xpress Line Array is based around a totally new, radical technology developed by the Renkus-Heinz R&D team led by Ralph Heinz - the Isophasic Plane Wave Generator (Patent Pending). It allows high power and precise line array performance to be generated from a column of bi-amped cabinets just two feet wide, making it perfect for medium-sized tours and installations in venues such as theatres.
Part of the Renkus-Heinz Reflex Series, it is fully compatible, electronically and acoustically, with the other Reflex Series cabinets, which can be used to partner it with sidefills, downfills and sub-bass cabinets.

The ST-STX Series is designed for the high end touring and installation markets with a range of high-powered cabinets, and combines Renkus-Heinz's latest technologies including 
True Array Principle (TRAP) design, Reference Point Arrays, Complex Conic horn loading, and CoEntrant transducers. The ST Series is self-powered with integral third-generation Class D amplification and optional built-in CobraNet® connectivity along with the R-Control Remote System Supervision Network. The STX Series has identical cabinets and drivers but offers the option of external amplification.

The top of the line CT Series has been chosen for the second year in a row by the Szeged Outdoor Theatre in Hungary. This time however, the all new CT10 vertical array was flown, delivering a crisp and clean enjoyment to the 6000 people audience.
